We are excited to have Silent River Kung Fu demonstrate their Lion Dance to celebrate the Lunar New Year!
SRKF will also be sharing the story behind the Lion Dance as well as the traditions and meanings behind the Year of the Dragon.
All are welcome to come watch this performance!
Bings #1 has also donated some gift certificates for door prizes for this event! Entry forms for the draw will be available at the event.
Miss Honey has also prepared various fun activities to do throughout the library:
- Colour and make a dragon lantern - Appropriate for ages 6-12, but everyone is welcome to join in! While supplies last.
- Lunar New Year themed colouring sheets
- Book folding for the adults and teens - Fold a book into a dragon!
